September

It's time to get our Mother Daughter Book Club going again!! There are many new faces that we are happy to welcome . . . and this year is sure to be as fun as last year.

We hope you will join us this month, September 24th at 7:00 at Tenli's home*. The book chosen is from the Classic Start book series, "Alice In Wonderland & Through The Looking Glass." There are copies of the book available through the local library systems and for purchase online or at book stores.

Nothing’s more magical than going down the rabbit hole and through the looking glass with Alice. There, in worlds unlike any other ever created, conventional logic is turned upside down and wrong-way round to enchanting effect. Children will love reading Carroll’s many humorous nonsense verses and meeting such unforgettable characters as the Mad Hatter, the Knave of Hearts who steals some tarts, and the grinning Cheshire Cat (in Alice in Wonderland) and Tweedledee, Tweedledum, Humpty Dumpty, and the Jabberwock (in Through the Looking Glass).

See you all on the 24th, feel free to spread the word to other 1st through 3rd graders and their moms!

(*7111 #A Ordway Blvd, Fort Lewis. If you come in the main gate (exit 120) turn left at the light. Take your first left onto Garcia Blvd. Continue on Garcia through the stop sign at Hillside and into new housing. You will turn left onto Ordway and it is the first green house on the left).
