Tenli will host in November, and she wants to read 'Tangled' by Irene Trimble (it might also say RH Disney). This book is based on the Disney movie expected to release Thanksgiving weekend--sounds like a fun mommy/daughter date to me!
Expect adventure, heart, humor, and hair . . . lots of hair, when Disney Tangled comes to theaters Holiday 2010! The Junior Novelization retells the complete story of the swashbuckling, computer-animated comedy—and features eight pages of full-color movie stills.
When the kingdom’s most wanted — and most charming — bandit Flynn Rider hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel, a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
There are a few copies of the book available in the Pierce County library system. Target has paperback copies for $4.50, and the PX sells it for $3.75. (There is also a new series with the same title, so make sure you find the right book. It says 'Junior Novelization' on the cover.)
We'll meet at Tenli's house on November 17 at 7:00 PM. This is a week earlier due to Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
